The Faber Galileo Turn Venting Hob features a sleek black glass surface and an innovative flip-open centre extraction grill designed to increase airflow while cooking. With a simple push, the centre grill lifts open to create a larger intake area, allowing more steam and cooking vapours to enter the extractor for improved performance during heavier cooking.

Beneath the surface sits Faber’s 800m³/h integrated extraction motor, removing moisture, and cooking odours directly from the hob surface while keeping the space above your worktop clear of traditional overhead extraction.

The Turn also offers flex induction zones on both sides, allowing you to combine cooking areas for larger cookware, grill plates or multiple pans. This flexible layout makes it easy to adapt the hob to different cooking styles and pan sizes.

For precise control, the Turn uses slider touch controls positioned along the front of the hob. The interface is illuminated with red LED sliders, offering clear visual feedback while cooking, while subtle Ghost LED indicators remain hidden until the hob is active to maintain the clean look of the black glass surface.

When not in use, the Galileo Turn’s flip-open centre grill closes flush to discreetly conceal the extractor, maintaining the uninterrupted look of a sleek induction hob — ideal for those who prefer a more subtle approach to kitchen extraction.

Automatic operation: the extractor will turn on at the most suitable speed automatically, adapting the extraction capacity to the maximum cooking level. This setting can be deactivated and the hood can also be controlled manually.

The two bridging zones allow the cooking area to be increased to suit larger pans or griddle plate. The 4 zones on either side of the extractor can be used independently or bridged to create 2 extra-large cooking areas.

The motor’s compact design also means that Galileo is the only product in its class that leaves enough free space inside the cabinet for an under-sink style utensil drawer to be fitted immediately beneath. The brushless motor guarantees considerable energy saving coupled with high extraction efficiency. It is the most silent motor on the market and its performance remains stable in any usage condition

Waterproof - any liquid spilled during cooking flows directly into a suction grille and is collected in a tray under the hood, which is small enough to leave space for a sink style utensil drawer.

The Intensive Speed function activates maximum extraction for 6 minutes to meet special cooking needs and clean odours quickly.

The Booster function increases the hob zone power to the maximum level for 10 minutes before returning to the previous setting. This is useful for boiling water quickly.

The hob timer helps to manage the cooking timer by alerting the user when a cooking time is finished. Each cooking zone can be set individually.
