The Airmatic function automatically cleans the indoor air throughout the day. The sensor monitors air quality even after cooking, detecting unpleasant odours and vapours as well as pollutants such as cleaning fumes, cigarette smoke, and volatile organic compounds. Based on this data, the hood automatically adjusts its power level, and once air quality returns to the optimal level, the appliance switches off automatically, saving energy. This technology provides the perfect balance of convenience, energy efficiency, and low noise.

Delayed Shut-Off
The smart timer function allows you to set the appliance to switch off automatically after a specified period. Delayed shut-off can also be used to keep the hood running after cooking has finished, ensuring complete removal of strong odours and excess moisture.

Maintenance Indicator
Appliances with this feature include an indicator light that signals when grease and odour filters are approaching saturation. This makes it easy to know when to clean or replace them, keeping the hood clean and efficient over the long term.

Perimeter Extraction
The hood’s suction power is efficiently distributed across the entire surface. The extraction area is completely concealed behind the panel, giving the appliance an elegant, modern, and clean appearance.

With the Elica system, installation can be completed in just a few simple steps. Once the hood automatically locks into place, the fixing points can be adjusted with millimetre precision. A simple, durable, and secure solution.

Long Life Filter
To simplify maintenance, Elica has developed an innovative regenerative Long Life odour filter with a lifespan of up to three years. Simply wash it every two months with warm water and neutral soap, or in a dishwasher at 65 °C, then dry it in an oven at 100 °C for ten minutes — restoring it to like-new condition. After washing, the filter retains approximately 60% of its efficiency.
